Improved safety standardsAfter treatment, machinery can operate for a period of time under oil-starvation without damage. The operation of internal combustion engines under nominal load, without motor oil, for several hours has been repeatedly demonstrated with no failures and no degradation in parameters.
DSS does not change the original oils and lubricants, implementing insoluble in the lubricants components. These are quite different from the oil and fuel additives.
The substances used are in microscopic quantities (below 0.2%) and remain in the oils and lubricants for a short time (just few hours), without changing the parameters of the original oils and lubricants.
In this way the warranty of new equipment is not affected when DSS is applied.

DSS is originated in the 1980s as a result of research by scientists from Leningrad, Russia. Later it was patented.
